# Azuro Protocol

Azuro Protocol serves as the backbone of decentralized betting, where markets are priced, created, and made liquid. This protocol blends Prediction Markets, NFTs, DAO governance, and a unique Liquidity Pool design known as the Liquidity Tree. OnChainBets operates as an Azuro Protocol frontend operator, providing a user interface for betting. However, the resolution of bets and liquidity provision are managed by independent participants within the Azuro decentralized ecosystem. For those interested in building their own frontends, Azuro provides an SDK accessible via <team@azuro.org>.
